I can hardly stress enough the importance of carrying insurance on each and every unit to not only protect you and your family and your business, but the well being of each and every customer you have. It seems impossible to get here, and easy to get there, but persistence pays off. Hopefully these agencies can help you out. Check with as many agencies as you can. Some are always adding additional states to their coverage areas and new underwriters all the time. If you know of someone, please share! Please notify us of a broken link or out of business agency. While many in the industry feel that a group effort may be possible to create a self insured, or group insurance plan, you have to understand that such a task requires hundreds of members with contributions matching minimum requirements of hundreds of thousands of dollars, and in some cases a million dollars. Some states don't accept group policies, neither do some municipalities. So, we intend to do what we can to improve the insurance situation but we do not make any promises that now or next year we can offer insurance. In the mean time we will persist with our lobbying and efforts to educate the insurance industry as well as members.
